The Zendesk Migration Utility provides a set of tools that can be used to bring information concerning existing Tickets and Forums from a variety of sources into a Zendesk account.

This includes a number of direct API communications between alternative Help Desk systems and the target Zendesk account, as well as a number of alternative data formats that enable bulk export/import.
